Insul Cast Delta Crete is an Insulating Refractory Castable.

Insul Cast is an insulating castable refractory suitable for use as a backup to firebrick or other types of solid masonry, such as pizza oven domes. Resistant to temperatures up to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, this conventional dry mix castable for high temperature masonry insulation is ideal for pizza or bake ovens, crematories, flues, incinerators, masonry heaters, boilers, fireplaces, furnaces, kilns and woodstoves. For pizza ovens, trowel it over the dome or under the hearth for added insulation.

This castable insulation is non-water soluble and meets and exceeds A.S.T.M. C-401 requirements for structural strength and safety. Insul Cast ships in a 50-lb. bag and requires no additives for use, just clean water. A 50 lb. bag covers approximately 6 square feet when applied 2" thick.
